Deposit
Learn about the Deposit.
Introduction
To operate a Normal Node, the Operator is required to pay a deposit into its Operation Pool.
The current deposit requirement is set to 10,000 $RSS3.
The deposit is a measure to stabilize the Network. In the event of malicious behavior, the Operation Pool including its deposit, is slashed.
The deposit may also increase the Operator’s network reward.
